Positivity & Rewards
This morning was a little dire, because I keep waking up at 3AM and being totally ready for the day to start, and it is starting to make me MAD, like, okay, should I just start my day at 3 or what?
And then it was dire because even awake I had ZERO DESIRE to write today's assignment for my students. Or teach. Or go to class. Or admin an event tonight. Etc.
The direness was again furthered when I realized I didn't really have anything to take for lunch, so I steamed some kale, scrambled and egg, and put it in a Tupperware with leftover chicken tenders and...a pancake? (I'm beginning to understand how the South functions. XD)
BUT THE ASSIGNMENT WENT GREAT, MY STUDENTS WERE GREAT, THEIR MID-SEMESTER FEEDBACK WAS GREAT, THIS LUNCH IS GREAT, IT'S ALL GREAT.
HUZZAH HUZZAH HUZZAH.
And in 10 hours, 11x04!!!! I'm still mildly disappointed that the premise of this one got spoiled for me, BUT since it got spoiled for me like 6 separate times this summer, lol, I'm going to assume that was inevitable. And I'd much rather be spoiled for the same thing six times than six separate things! After this episode, I will be 100% spoiler-free once more. \O/
eta: OMG. Text message from housemate: "When you get home... there will be a slice of pie waiting for you. AND HOMEMMADE WHIPPED CREAME."
