Oooh thinkiness... and a cruel capricious God indeed. And the image of Amara as the sky reminded me of the Egyptian goddess Nut. Was that what you were thinking of?

AND ON THE FIRST DAY... spn!God invented sexism and damaging gender stereotypes! XDDD

I actually don't know of the Egyptian goddess, Nut! But that's really neat. :3 And thank you for reading, bb~

OOOOH I love all of this, and especially the ending when you allude to the Horsemen. makes me wonder if maybe they're her creations. kind of like Eve with the monsters, but even more primordial?

also idk if you've read it but Amara going to war reminds me of War the horse(wo)man in Good Omens: http://goodomenslexicon.org/articles/war/ :D

Thank you! :) I'm glad you enjoyed this. And I have indeed read Good Omens, though not recently, and apparently not very well, because the only Horseman I remember is Sticky Things Falling on Carpet. XDD But ooh, I like that description of GO!War; I'd be down with that crossover!!

oh yeahhh, the Biker Gang Horsemen! XD

best crossover ever!!! and we did get the disgruntled demon and angel footsoldiers meeting up for a drink last ep... I firmly believe that those two are GO!Crowley and Aziraphale, and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.

Oh I love this. The idea that God is the creator, and Amara can't be, can't do it as well, is there just to praise him, to be what he wants her to be...very much "And on the first day SPN!God invented sexism and damaging gender stereotypes."
And God liking her in pieces, and not locking her away but re-appropriating her for his needs. Chilling.
This was a very thinky and thought-provoking piece and I thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

I definitely had a lot of fun with this one, aha. I've never really thought about what SPN's God is like before this, but for him to have begun as an aggressively creative/bossy/budding sociopath nine-year old boy would certainly explain a lot. XP

I'm so glad you enjoyed this! Thank you for reading, and for this lovely comment. :)

What a wonderful fic filled with so many thinky thoughts. I love the idea that spn!God was sort of stroppy megalomaniac, and how Amara can't possibly create anything as perfect as He can!!!

Such a cool fic - thank you for sharing :)

Thank you! And haha, yeah, I haven't really spent a lot of time thinking about spn!God's characterization, but as I was thinking about this episode, I was like, you know, if he were an aggressively creative/bossy nine-year old boy who also sort of seemed like a budding sociopath, a whole lot of SPN would make a whole lot of sense. XD

Again, thank you for reading!!

She's a lot of fun! While naturally I was QUITE UNOPPOSED TO HER ABSENCE IN 11x04, I'm very much looking forward to seeing where she goes! Ideally, we'll get to see a lot of her. :D

Thank you for reading (and haha, it looks like we're doing the same thing today. LOTS OF FIC CATCHUP. But a delightful catchup it's been)! I'm glad you enjoyed this.
