Oh man, this was so beautiful and perfect! By now you better know that I absolutely am in love with your writing style.

Like: "I hate the holidays," says Sam. His face is completely blank. Devoid. Devoid of. (Devoid of what? But that's exactly it.) and He doesn't respond for some time, like he's left the room to get another drink and forgotten to take his body with him.
WOW how is it even possible to describe those simple things so incredibly???

I literally cried because of how beautiful that last non-italicized section is. I am in so much awe right now. I love how I was pretty confused at the beginning by the end it all made sense and came together perfectly. That's one of my favorite parts about your fics, I never know what's going on the entire time and have to persevere through them but when I finally get it, it's so worth it.
