Yesterday was a good day went out to Cruces to visit a music shop named Hubbard's. I got to meet Dru Hubbard one of the owners. They were really cool. I got to play a Peavey Cirrus! It retails at 1949 but he was willing to let it go for 1250.00. Now they say you can completly customize how you want it while ordering it from a local dealer instead of a local shop that's awesome. You can choose woods for construction, hardware, and paint it's really great. Those basses are so well made. They hand make them at the Peavey Shop and you can tell. The quality of the instrument is amazing. The cut on the bass for the body made it incredibly comfortably to play. The low end was awesome all the way to the low B. It rattled I tried it on a Fender 4x10 with an SWR head. What can I say but wow. I plan on getting myself one in the following months. I came in there wanting to try the Cirrus and a Schecter. I never even tried the Shechter I spent so much time on the Cirrus.
