Brilliantly written, as always with your stories. Can you post part 2 soon, let's say, 10 minutes? Or 10.5 minutes?

It's tomorrow where I am. ;)

I really love this. It's funny and tender and I love the way you've made Tennish different from Ten. And the fact that Rose remembers that this is not a fairytale-ending, even when they won't be separated.

I love your writing and this series is no exception. The Doctor and Rose's awkwardness, coupled with their desperation to be together is so believable. Thanks so much for sharing.

First, oh my God I've been looking forward to this and it was lovely. I can't wait for the next part; the Doctor fearing for his life from Jackie certainly is how I imagine it will go down in Pete's World! I can just imagine her demanding the Doctor to make an honest woman out of her daughter!

Lovely little scene of them sleeping together, in the literal sense. It was very sweet and tender, very them and not wanting to be away from each other touched my heart strings! Really really am looking forward to part 2. If that does comes tomorrow I will be a happy bunny.

Can I point out an Americanism too? The word "trunk" we call "boot". Funnier still is that we call a "hood" a "bonnet". I swear Brits and Americans use different words just to be awkward!

I think Jackie's ire for this particular morning was more of a "don't you dare make me have a conversation with Tony about why there's a man in Rose's bed" than about actually finding him there.

Part 2 tomorrow, for sure. And thank you for the note on the Americanism; I hate it when that happens!

Lovely, as always. I love the little details about the tag on the shirt and Pete's car and investing in telescopes. It makes it all feel very real and true.

As platypus said when she initially read this -- Pete didn't get rich by accident. He would note trends like that and take advantage of them.

Thanks :)

I love that you incorporate that into your writing. I was thinking actually, what a wonderful job Shaun Dingwell did of bringing Pete to life. He doesn't actually have that much screen time, yet I feel I know him as well as Rose. The actors in that show are just on another level.
