b)getting up early
c)writing papers before they're due
d)doing my homework on a friday night or saturday night
e)worry about impressing professors
f)organizing my life and making lists
or for any other habit of mine related to being a good student.... CAN FUCK OFF!
seriously.
I am a FUN FUCKING PERSON, but not when people demand that I am fun. The quickest way to get me in a bad mood is to pressure me to have fun. Having fun is something that should come naturally. It's not a chore. It's not a duty. It's not something you "owe" to other people. I have a feeling next semester is going to be challenging. I'm taking this amazing Amherst class and a seminar with Steve Goldstein... both of which are going to involve hard work.. so once again I'll be the one invested in my work, caring about school, and having to defend myself against all the snide comments and eye rolling directed at me when I get stressed about my work and decide to push myself.
