SHIKAGO

so i booked the flight to head to chicago on march 10th at 3pm from here, good ol' bemidji. I cried when i did. it isn't as tho i don't want to go. I just spent almost $400 on a ticket. Money I don't know that i can afford. I cried, i talked to my mom and i talked to aaron. I am so excited to do something other than work and hang out in bemidji during my spring break which is what i have done for the past 3 years. by the time i go, stay there for 5 days, and come back it will be over a $500 trip. I don't know if that is good or bad for just a trip to chicago. He has to work most of the time but says we can go do things during the evening. it was an option to go to an opera and a ballet if i wanted to even. no, i chose the bars, strip clubs, a play, and the aquarium! (a cheap version of sea world) Probably go to a couple hockey games while i'm there to considering that is what he does for a living. got a couple weeks yet to get everything i need, get packed and finally get the balls to ride a plane. Ive never been on one before so this is pretty much the scariest thing ive ever done in my life. If i was going with someone else i would drive down to the cities but ive never done that before either so it is just more convenient to fly out of here. The hockey players do it at least twice a month and make it back every time...why can't i? I don't want to leave my car at the airport for a week and risk that getting screwed up somehow and pay at least $100 to leave it there. For a $100 more i can just fly from here. only 45 min layovers on the stop there and on the stop back so that isn't bad at all. I am not going anywhere that will give me a tan which bums me out but hey, im gettin out of here. HAHA mom said that stan would even hook me up with one of his old cop buddies from chicago to escort me around if i want. that would be cool!
