the update to end all updates
so.. i dont really know where to start.
my summer's been pretty cool. i spent almost every day with jessica. on june 2 i crashed my truck and got a dui... if anyone didnt already know. so i relied on everyone else for rides all summer. but it worked out. ofcourse, i worked full time up untill the middle of august.
i quit then because i was leaving for the marines on august 26. so i havent been working for the past couple weeks.... which is cool, cause i had a few thousand dollars in the bank... long story... heh so yeah... ive just been hanging out for a while. me and jessica went up to mackinaw island with her mom and her moms boyfriend... it was cool... theyre fun people.. heh.
oh.. being 21 now isnt really all its cracked up to be... i mean, its cool that i can go get my own alcohol and drink at restaraunts... but the bar scene... isnt really for me. especially because most the people i hang out with arent 21 yet... and i tend to be kinda anti social around large crowds... so the bar freaks me out.
anyways...
back to the marines thing...
i couldnt leave on 8/26 with kevin because of my dui... i was supposed to be in jail for 2 days but my recruiter found out and got me out a couple hours after i went in. then he talked to the judge and got it off my record... because apparantly you cant be a marine if youve been to jail. soo... i had to wait a couple weeks to make sure everything was off my record. so that sucked because kevin left a couple weeks ago and i couldnt go with him...
however... it was kinda cool too cause i got to spend more time with jessica. well, needless to say, those two weeks went by quick... and i had to say bye to jessica tonite. that totally sucked. we just kinda hung out all night... got some chinese... watched some tv. layed around n stuff. then she had to leave.... i gave her my xbox to hold on to while im gone... cause her little brother really wanted one so im gonna let him borrow mine... i gave her all of my metal shirts and hoodies to wear cause she wanted to wear them while im gone. i also wrote her a check for $50 cause i know her next check isnt gonna be that big and i figured she might need the money for something.... i wrote her another one but i left that one blank...
that way she can use it to get her plane ticket out to california or incase of any kind of emergency... so... loaded all the stuff in to her jimmy... and yeah... we stood outside hugging for a while n stuff.... crying and whatnot.
i really love that girl...
i know everythings gonna work out...
i know she wont stray while im gone...
but im gonna miss her so much...
thats what really sucks.
soo... yeah..
on another note...
i just want to say bye to everyone i didnt get a chance to talk to. im really sorry ive been so busy lately and.. dont have a cell phone... im gonna miss everyone a lot. i hope you all take good care of yourselves... and learn from my mistakes. ;P i would really appreciate it if people wrote me... but i cant garauntee that i'll be able to write everyone back... they dont give you much free time in the marines boot camp... and i gotta write my mom as much as possible... but ill try to write everyone atleast once. im not sure what my address will be
but my mom will know in about a week and a half or so... just get a hold of her and she'll let you know.
