When Doug left for work this morning, I had suggested he may want to check with some folks about going out for dinner tonight, perhaps to the Asia Wok 'n Grill in Wehr, a new-ish restaurant that does just what the name implies. Similar to the Mongolian Grill type of stores back home, the one in Wehr opened just last November and we'd only been there once since the opening; Laurie had never been, so she was "game" for it.
Meanwhile, Doug had learned, once he got to work, there were a few folks heading to the Hong Kong, another Chinese restaurant in Geilenkirchen, for their buffet lunch; he called to tell me of the plans, inviting me to join the bunch going there. Not sure if that would preclude our dinner thoughts, I figured sure, why not?
Are you surprised to learn that I am stuffed? Nope, me neither. But both were really pretty good, in their own ways. I had a little issue at the evening one, when they had mixed up the dish and sauce I'd ordered with Laurie's... put her oyster sauce on my chicken and veggies, and my garlic sauce on her shrimp and seafood... with my oyster allergy, I dared not even try it. Thankfully we'd figured it out before I got to that point, so I just set up another plate and told the griller to be careful because of my allergy. I'm not sure what my reaction is, but I don't want to find out the hard way.
