I found a review for my novella, The Keeper, this morning and whilst the reviewer was disappointed in the book, and marked it quite low, I have to say that this is the kind of review that I, as a writer, appreciate. Hi Kalita,

I am happy that you found the review as it was intended - as a tool to be helpful.
My small group of readers (hehe, it's only about 5 of them, but they do provide such awesome feedback) will surely be pleased to see the reply you left behind (yes, Blogger does like you after all, it just spazzes sometimes).
I know they will be pleased to read that you did indeed appreciate their comments.

And yes, I was very smitten with Lucien. His accent and personality just won me over :)

Thank You for stopping by,

Byanca

Oh cool, I am glad you came back to see this post.

I see fiction writing as a conversation, not just a lecture, so I always appreciate hearing from readers. Hearing what worked and what didn't. The day I can call myself a writer with nothing left to learn, is the day I will stop writing.

That's a very inspiring way to look at it. I sincerely wish you much success with your other books, I will be on the look out.
