sheesh..what a week...
there has been so much going on i have no idea where to start! Lets see. maya was in the hospital for a day and a half last week for dehydration from the stupid stomach flu that is going around. She is Fine now. I will write more about all these things when i have a bit more time. She got to go to Ren Fest sat. and sunday. I went sunday as well..What a blast!..heheh UMMM..now the oddness...sunday night as we left the house to go to Denny's for coffee we almost hit a cat out here on the road. we didn't. however we did stop and see if we could rescue it before it got hit by someone else. we caught her and brought her home and checked her out ,then left for Denny's. When we came back home, she was so happy to see us...(she just wanted food..lol). needless to say, she played stomp on the human all that night...then we had her checked at the vets yesterday(we are getting a kitten in 2 days...that one was planned.).and she says she is healthy, just dehydrated and underweight.Got her shots done and all that. they want to do a recheck in 3 weeks. She is about 8 months old and weights all of 2 pounds. we named her Angel, because we figure that is about all that saved her that night. She is pure white with one blue eye and one gold. she is wonderful!. still a bit skittish around everyone else in the house, but i think she thinks i am her safety pillow.
also, Maya started second grade yesterday. She is excited and feels comfortable with her teacher. She had her as a helper in class last year. here's to hoping it lasts this year!
