(no subject)
Ever since I got back to Monterey on the 20th it has been raining. It's not a hard rain, but persistant. It actually quit during Saturday long enough for the wooden fence outside to start looking dry. Then it mocked us last night with gusty winds hard enough to draw our attention to the fact that it was raining... at 1 am.
The rain isn't consistant. There can be whole sections of time when it stops except for the random drop. It starts dribbling. Then 15 minutes later it starts pouring, a wind gust comes up randomly and it drops down to a steady dribble.
I almost think my car sprung a leak or something. I came out to the car this morning, and went to get in. It hadn't rained Saturday, but I hadn't gone anywhere. The floor in the driver's foot well was sopping wet.
I don't really care if it has, though.
