Wrap up
It is 2am so I be posting a copy of my last post in lj_biz. For those of you who know about what I refer to in the last couple paragraphs, don't worry too much, I am trying to make a point, but like I said, it is 2am.

6A, you screwed up.
The first step you need to do is admidt it to yourself, then you need to tell your customers. Us.
In strikethrough you may have caught a couple of questionable journals, but the vast majority of journals were completely innocent. That amount of collateral damage is unacceptable. Your actions directly affected thousands of customers, and indirectly affected every customer you have. You did not even review the journals in question before you banned.
Forget the discussions about child pornography and obsenity. While they are important topics to address they are not the point here, and only muddle the waters.
What happened here now is that someone reported these two artworks. You reviewed them in all secrecy, which you said you wouldn't do. You banned without warning, as you said you wouldn't do. Stop trying to bring up the argument about not wanting to host child porn on your servers. YOU ADMITTED THAT THESE PICTURES WERE NOT ILLEGAL so you cannot argue that they were child porn or obsene. The judgement you came down to was that they 'lacked artistic merit.'
What this tells everybody who sympathizes with the artists is, 'we don't like you, go away.' And they are. I've seen the numbers. The number of active journals has been steadily dropping since 6A bought LJ. This service is the next you are going to tank.
Did you ever think before you deleted any of these journals, either the 500 before or the two now? Did it never occur to you that your customers might object? Were you so self confident in your moral superiority that you could delete journals, not just delete but perminently block the ISP's of people that you admit their sole failing was that they posted ONE ARTWORK that you considered 'lacked merit' in a LOCKED POST?

If you had left a comment late Friday saying 'We understand you have some questions, we'll be able to answer them Monday, just give us the weekend,' they most likely would have let you be. But you ignored us. The online world is not 9-5.

Fear of the unknown, fear of what you don't understand, fear of just how uncontrollable a large group of people really are. There is nothing that you can hang over our heads to control us.
I'm tired of this. I'm tired of a company that doesn't even have a customer service department. I'm tired of bouncing emails when I need to complain. I tried writing letters. I'm tired of people trying to label me a pedophile and freak.
I don't want to stay here because I don't want to live in fear. I was stalked when I was in college, not on LJ, but in real life. This weekend had me jumping, wondering if I was going to be the next target of WfI or another group like that. I'm emotionally used up. I should have been studying this past week for a test that will mean considerably more to my future than LJ.
Its 2am and I just want to sleep. But I have to go lock my door first.
