Our Christmas Story (2008)
So our Christmas story has two formats. Pictures and text.

Christmas Eve
Matt and I decided that we will start our own little tradition of being able to open one gift on Christmas Eve. I went first and he got me a personalized stocking! It's soo cute. It has a snowman and a Christmas tree and it also lights up! Matt still has his stocking from when he was a little boy, but when you compare it against my new one, I have decided that I will be getting him a new one as well lol.
I gave Matt an XBox 360 Remote control to play movies with, instead of using his game controller (we use the XBox a lot now to watch shows and movies since we have Netflix on there). Sorry, no pics of that :(
Christmas Day
We opened up our gifts from family members first. My mom got us lots of stuff for the kitchen including a Pressure Cooker, jello mold (I had really needed one for Thanksgiving and couldn't find one ANYWHERE), a Deviled Egg/Cupcake/Pie tray, a baster, and an alarm clock (for the guest room lol).
Then we opened up my grandma's gift to us which was a food sealer machine (that will most definitely come in handy XD)
And now it was time for our gifts to each other. We opened our stockings and I got a big bag of Dark Chocolate Peanut M&M's. YUMMY! I got Matt a little stuffed Gorilla with a Santa hat, mini M&M's, and (chocolate} Coal hehehe.
I had two gifts to open and he only had one. He labeled his two gifts to me in the order in which they needed to be opened. So I started with the first gift. It was a Bisquick box. I open it up and inside was bubble wrap and newspaper. After pulling everything out, I see a small box taped to the middle of it, wrapped. I opened it up and its one of those boxes that a ring box comes in. I open it and inside is just newspaper. Matt said that he ordered the ring and it was supposed to be here on the 23rd, but, it didn't come in time, but he wanted me to know that he DID order it.
So then it was Matt's turn to open his gift from me, which was a Beverage cooler. It chills beverages (cans of soda, beer bottles, wine, etc) in a minute. He really liked it XD
Now on my second gift. This one feels quite heavy. I open it up and it's a M&M box. I open up the M&M's and inside are three baggies of personalized M&M's.
One side says
"Kari will you"
and the other side says"
"Marry me?"
Then he presented me with a ring XDDDDD Of course I said yes haha. I mean, we have the marriage license, a date set, our friends flying out.... would be mean if I said anything else right? ;)
Aaaaand.. that is our very memorable Christmas story!
