I'll reply for the icon meme. I did a similar one, but this seems very interesting. I may not get to it until the morning though if that's all right.

Although, is #29 Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen - probably the best song in the English language - must go google and listen to now.
And #27 is Oasis - Champagne Supernova - is that right?

I'll stop now, but I'm wrong about #27. I won't guess again because I looked it up.

#16 sounds like something by Green Day

Yeah, it's still one of my favourite icons.

#8 is right, and #16 is indeed by Green Day. One of their older songs, but definately one of my favourites.

12 is right. I've got the version by Marilyn Manson.
17 is not ludacris, the other ones are all right. The next line for 21 is feeling so faithless. Does that help? :)

I recently did the icon meme, so I'll leave that one alone for now, but for the lyrics meme...

17. DMX (if I remember correctly, the song is called "Up in Here" but I could be wrong on the title)
18. from the Lion King soundtrack "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (the one with the characters talking; I know it's not the Elton John version)

30. the song is called "Angels" and there's been several covers of it (I have the Jessica Simpson version, but I know that Robbie Williams and probably a few others have done the song too)
