The things kids say
So today, I'm driving home with my kids in the car. My seven year old looks out the window, says, "Are we going fast?"
Her sister, 4, in the back seat, says, "Yes, fast! The police will catch us!"
Older kid, worried, "And they will lock mommy up in jail? And then we won't have mommy?" Then, thoughtfully, "But the police will take care of us and find us a house. And maybe we will live with Daddy or Grandma."
Me, cautiously, "Where are you getting that from?"
"Spongebob," the kidlet says.
...yeah.
