Holy crap. You've certainly beaten my record for unbearable summer weather. I don't think my corner of the country has gone as high as that...

This, of course, is payback for all the smugness I felt reading about my flist having their horrible cold snowy freezy winters while we had our mild cool dry winter. *g*

It makes me very grateful I work in an air conditioned office. Now if only I lived in an air conditioned house. Thanks!

EwewewewewewEW. What is with the disgusting weather these days? You all are getting heatwaves, we're getting tornadoes (tornadoes, wtf?!) and flash-storms that seem intent on kicking our transformers to death.

(...Alright, global warming. You win.)

I suppose given the whole storms and flooding thing in the midwest, heat is not so bad, but srsly, HOT. We all use evaporative coolers, which is kind of like a radiator for your house, and it keeps the house about 20 degrees cooler than what's outside. When it's 105 outside, that's still 85 inside, not so great.

I like storms, except for the power outage and property damage bits, which suck. Still storms, cool. *g*

I'd love to, if I had both the vacation days and the traveling money. Going to come down and enjoy our mild winters later?

Christmas without snow sounds pretty nice. Something to think about.
