If everyone on your flist did a meme...

Would you do it too?

Come on, you totally would.

So, anyway, questions meme. It's making the rounds and I picked it up from ennui_blue_lite. (Makes it sound like an STD, doesn't it?)

Questions for you. Yes, YOU. I hope you studied. )

Yes I would, if I liked the meme.

5. Brocolli.
6. Ringworld, by Larry Niven.
7. Leo.
8. No.
9. My fingernail-chewing, or my foot-tapping.

11. .....to play? None. To see? Ice Skating.
12. Both.
13. Promptly discuss current fandoms.
14. Be shunned by family. Lose internet permanently.

20. My weight.
21. Crime. :D
22. Brown.
23. No.
24. Draft sounds cooler.
25. Grab the rest of the order from the Comic Shop, snag some DVDs, and maybe get World of Warcraft. The rest goes into the bank for later.

29. RP via AIM.
30. No.
31. Until the meds kick in, everything.

Ah, I do the fingernail biting thing too. In school people teased me about "eating my hands" which eventually got me to do it more covertly.

As for one thing to change about the appearance, I almost went for weight too, but that seemed like too obvious an answer. I mean, that's something I theoretically could change with effort and work and all that crap I don't really want to do. So I went with my super-pale, untannable skin, which I can't change.

Also, busy? Really?

Stealth biter! *grin*

Well, it's more how my weight is distributed. I don't like where it's placed when I put it on.

You seem to be, but maybe that's just me...*shrug*

Most people, it seems, had normal ambitious dreams when they were growing up. Mine were all very weird. Maybe I read too much sci-fi.

Also, I would totally love to talk about Hugh and Stephen with you. Like, a little while ago I got Stuart Little through Netflix (my daughter adored it so much I'm probably going to buy it) and it was so odd to see Hugh in that role. He's closer to his House age, and he's speaking with that flawless American accent, but he's playing such a sweet, gentle character. He's got an amazing range.

As for Stephen, when I saw him in Wilde it seemed like there was so much of his real personality in it and at the end I wanted to write followup fic where he found someone who appreciated him and nursed him back to health and he lived happily ever after.

Hah! I have no one in my household interested in Stuart Little (my sons are 20 and 18) but of course when it was on TV recently I tivo'ed it. And Stuart Little 2 as well. I fast-forwarded through the non-Hugh parts, I admit. But I did love seeing him as that character. As you say, so sweet!

101 Dalmations is coming on soon (this weekend, maybe) and I have that tivo'ed as well.

I rented The Little Visiters from Blockbuster. It was rather cute, actually! But I was sad for Hugh's character at the end.

I just got Flight of the Phoenix through Blockbuster today, so I'll watch that this weekend probably.

Oh, Wilde. I absolutely adore that movie. It's almost too painful to watch, isn't it? But Stephen is totally amazing in it.

I've often imagined the reactions of the ducklings and Wilson if they got hold of old Jeeves and Wooster or ABOFAL clips. You know, if the universe was an odd twisted thing that way. I mean--Greg House and Bertie Wooster, can you imagine two characters who are more different?

1. Can you cook?--You betcha.
2. What was your dream growing up? --I don't seem to have had one, which makes these sorts of questions difficult to answer.
3. What talent do you wish you had?--I'd love to be able to sing really well
4. Favorite place? --home
5. Favorite vegetable?--asparagus
6. What was the last book you read? Right now, finishing P.D. James' The Murder Room, which I will rec to anyone, anywhere ( ... )

Singing seems to be a popular wanted talent--possibly because it's one of those talents you can make a great living with and also because you could just really enjoy it.

Also, you can do odd things with your eyes? I can raise one eyebrow like Spock and I can wiggle my ears, but my eyes are pretty much the standard set.

And I totally agree with your pet peeve. People who insist that their view is right and anyone who disagrees is wrong, particularly in the context of religion, are among the worst I think. There's a kind of arrogance about it and blind refusal to listen that bugs the crap out of me.

:). Geeky is good.

I know. I always liked it, but once I got geeky, I started to love it.

Baseball, huh? I never knew that. Also, it's interesting that you've put so much focus on someday having a son. That's kind of the polar opposite to how the folks over on cf_hardcore think. I go there occasionally because the wank is funny.

Yeah, those people are crazy, to say the least.

I think it stemmed from a lot of disappointment in my sucky little sister (who I wanted--a sister--but who not only turned out to be a brat, but I'm pretty sure, since I was so young, I never got to do anything with--never mind her being treated much better than I or my brother was), along with my sucky parents.
