Sims and other absences from reality
So, there's this new expansion pack for Sims 2, called Open for Business, and I got it last night. It was two in the morning before I looked up and realized my brain had been eaten.
Also, I'm cheating at it like a mad cheating thing. I consider it a perfectly fair learning curve. I cheat until I get good enough to not need to cheat. Hey, the game comes with a built in cheat mode! Would they do that if they didn't want us to use it? I think not.
Besides, who wants to do all the skill building and money earning crap anyway. Real life is real enough; I like my games to have as little connection with reality as possible. Like fanfic, except with censor blurs. (Which I still can't get rid of, damn it.)
Anyway, if I happen to disppear off the face of the earth (or at least off the face of LJ), that's where I am. So far my Sim has built up a thriving flower shop with three minions to run it for her. I think I'll try a bowling alley next, and populate it with people from Cleveland.
