(no subject)
Sorry about not being able to make it out tonight :(
Ann and I got back from trying on dresses and Man said "I think I saw blood in bilbo's cage"
I look and his ledge is covered in blood.
So off to the emergency vets we go. I call in and tell them who I am, they ask if I've been there before and I tell them to check my records...
"oh so ya you know the drill, we'll have a room ready for you"
Ya, for those who don't know I've got 4 pets. In 1 year I spent well over a couple thou on vet bills for 3 of the 4.
Also I'm totally freaking out because Bilbo, my oldest chin is never lethargic, antisocial and not hungry. He's currently all of these things plus bleeding from some unknown source.
The exotic vet wasn't there and they really don't know what's going on. they gave him fluid and gave us pain meds/antibiotics and special foods.
Bilbo seems to be feeling a bit better, he talked to pat and bit me so that's good. He also ate some special food.
I'm just nervous in 8 yrs this is only the 3 time he's been sick :(

Its now been about 7 hrs later. There's no new blood in his freshly scrubbed cage so idk where the old stuff came from?!
But he's feeling a bit better. He talked to me a bit, had his meds w/o too much complaint and ate some of his special food.
Man, if you could plz feed him a small baby spoon of the oxbow (its in the fridge in the door) and make it a bit soupy (it takes less water than you think) before you leave and after you come back I'd appreciate it. Also is he's out of hay in his bowl could you put some more hay in there.
Call me at work if you need anything, my cell is on silent during work.
