Personal
Of the ten years of the last decade, which one was your favourite? All were rather nice, but let's say 2009 since I started my master's in something I am very interested in!
Which was your least-favourite? 2000, where I had a bit of an academic crisis which was thankfully resolved.
Was it a life changing decade for you? I went from starting junior high to starting my graduate studies. So yeah, I would say so.
Highlight of the 2000s? Graduating university with honours.
Lowlight of the 2000s? My grandfather's death.
Are you happier or sadder? I was happy in elementary school, sad in middle school, and happy again senior high and after. What do you plan to tell your grandchildren about? My past glories, of course.
The Future
What is your greatest fear for the coming decade, on a global scale? Climate change, deterioration of democracy by niche interests, American polarization and decline, the rise of xenophobia in Europe, destruction of human dominance and existence by rogue A.I.'s.
What is your greatest fear on a national scale? Harper majority for sure, followed by becoming a republic shudder.
What is your greatest fear on a personal scale? Not being married and not having a tenure track position by 30.
What is your greatest hope for the coming decade, on a global scale? Limiting climate change, greater global unity.
What is your greatest hope on a national scale? A return to Canadian governance instead of the Tories' America-Lite ideas. What is your greatest hope on a personal scale? A cozy tenured position, a loving wife, and no more than 2 children.

- Vladimir Putin will be re-elected President in 2012 and re-write the Russian Constitution again to give the President more power this time around.
- The U.N. will sadly become more and more irrelevant.
- While maintaining military dominance, America will lose political and economic influence with the continued rise of powers such as China, India, and Brazil.
- Things will change in the Middle East, not sure if for better or worse, but the status quo cannot hold.
- The U.K. will get Tory rule for a while, but the government will collapse short after due to a lack of a united policy on a lot of things, especially the EU.
