We have been visiting the cadaver room for less than half a dozen times last week both for our practicals and study of the human anatomy specifically the muscular system. Due to our frequent visits, I have already gotten used to the stench smell and the look of the decaying flesh which would normally turn one ordinary person’s stomach upside down. I haven’t been eating corned beef as of late for breakfast as the human muscles which are striated looks pretty much like corned beef strands especially the muscles located in the gluteus or butt.
I have been meaning to take pictures so I could post some here in my blog but I think that’s being too disrespectful of the dead. Even if they’re dead already, they still deserve some respect. Igalang ang mga patay, as one of my professors quip.
