ahh summertime
so basically i have realized that my quintessential cd of the summertime is parachutes by coldplay. i love to drive around on a calm, warm summer night with the windows open, listening to this cd. play it at a fiesta that you have. i promise it won't let ya down.
what have i been up to this summer...well i have been getting a lot of sleep...watching quite a few movies...i've watched half the first season of 24 and now i am stuck bc my provider of free 24 episodes has now disappeared. rough. i guess i'll just have to suck it up and buy it or simply rent the episodes. i'm trying to decide which would be the most economical option. i have also been laying out at the pool and exercising. oh and occasionally going out to bars and being hit on by married men. yeah crazy. this special young man decided to tell me that one person is not meant to only be with one other person. i told him that i do not agree. not even a little bit.
what else...oh yeah christy and dan have asked me to be a bridesmaid in their wedding which is super exciting! so next year in july around this time i'll be helping christy not flip out too much. and i've been noticing that several of my friends and acquaintances have decided to go out and get engaged/married. which is awesome but now i feel like i'm way behind. i haven't dated anyone seriously for three years now. i have gone on a couple dates here and there, but nothing serious. in fact the last date i went on--i found out that all he was interested in was getting ass. you can imagine how that made me feel. so im feeling quite frustrated. and thats all there is to it.
well im off to the doctors so that i can see if anything is wrong with my foot, etc.
and im going to exercise tonight at my lovely strength training class and then dinner with my wsc ladies :) well i'm off...peace and love to ya
