Here's a bit more from Joe's TV Zone interview SPOILERS (Highlight below to read):JF has come up with a story concept for an episode entitled Epithany. "I have so many ideas, much to the chagrin of Brad & Rob Cooper" chuckles the actor " I'll run into their office all hyped up and say 'OK, check this out, McKay & Sheppard are on a mysterious planet and they find treasure or something else and become greedy with power'. They'll usually sit there blank faced for a while and then tell me 'We did it on SG1'. Do you know how many times I've heard that? For the life of me I couldn't come up with an original story idea that hadn't been done on SG1. Finally I pitched them one that we all agreed on. This particular idea has Sheppard seperated from his team and caught on the other side of a time dilation sphere. To him, a year goes by before the rest of his team comes to get him, but, in reality, it's only five minutes. Sheppard thinks they've abandoned him though, so he has to survive where he is. He hooks up with a group of villagers who are descendants of the Ancients and there's a big climatic battle where he becomes their de facto sheriff. So there are some Magnificent Seven qualities to this story, which then play into a whole Ascension theme and other things of that nature. I'm really psyched about it and can't wait to start filming. The Pegasus Galaxy and the city of Atlantis are magical and mysterious places and there are endless storylines to explore. That's a rare creative situation to be in and it's pretty cool to be a part of that"
