NCIS LA eps that moved things forward: 3X01, 3X03, 3X04, 3X10, 3X14-3X17
Don’t kill me but sorry fans, 3x09 was an awesome Sam episode but revealed nothing about his character.I’m not touching the ending either…. Thematically and character wise it was also redundant.
Nothing that wasn’t already speculated or refered to so I didn’t include it. We didn’t even get basic background info or anything specific like 2x05 which was awesome for Sam but also for the team.
Ok, I officially agree with some fans that season 2 was better but who knows, the remaining eps might wow me.
I mean how do you top eps like Personal, Disorder, Tin Soldier, Empty Quiver, Little Angels, Stand-off or the Hetty two-parterthat all aired before sweep eps like Plan B, Imposters and Familia yet were still epic?
Top Shows as of Now: you know shows where things are always happening and are consistent yet have growth both in terms of plot, characters and relationships

Vampire Diaries and Lost Girls are definitely experiencing growing pains and the 22 ep format is hurting Lost Girls a lot.
NCIS LA - when they are epic they are great like 3x01, 3x15, 3x17 or just insightful like 3x04, 3x10 or 3x14
Otherwise this season has been bland in comparison. I think they are having some growing pains that typically occur in season two for most shows. They also took more risks last year with regards to relationships ie Densi, Sam and Callen,Hetty and team whereas this season has been pretty tame. I suspect season four will be a smoother ride. However, season three has given us some great antagonists and foils like Granger, Khaled, Chameleon and the Comescues which I hope wee see get more development in season four.
ETA: I forgot Person of Interest, I can't believe it.
