Note: before I saw pieces here and there and now I have seen entire episodes.
Umm this show is freakin' flawless and the leads are so warm, real and completely believable in their roles.
The cases are actually intelligent and give no easy solutions. And they make sense which is a bonus
No shipping crap because really American shows are just obsessed with it...
The cinematography and music is to die for, I feel like I'm watching a movie with every ep.
Oh and the fave north-american stereotype of making the boss a bitch and POC no less doesn't exist on this show. Yay!!
The typical lets create sexual tension with the typical leery male lead and the female sexual interest who does things that only an extra from Twilight would do is also absent. **ahemNCISahem.**
Despite Lewis having angst he isn't all about his man-pain and Hathaway doesn't let him wallow in it. **ahemNCISLAahem.**
How the hell am I going to go back to any of my american procedurals now? I'm ruined for them really.
I watched Grim immediately after, ep 1x04 and 1x05 specifically and yeah.... I'm really glad the procedural part isn't the main focus overall because they are ass at it. But the mythology and characters are great.
Ending for 1x04 was sloppy and actually some the guys joking about wishing they had sex appeal in relation to a case about a sexual predator were in poor taste so won't be re-watching that one.
I will keep Grimm and NCIS LA minus Sam man-pain eps for now since at least I'm not getting bombarded with shippy crap that drives story-lines nor am I offended by most of their cases and really the end game plot wise has nothing to do with being a cop show thank goodness. Yet....
So yeah, Lewis is amazing and love
lamardeuse for reccing it.:)
