Marvel OTP Platonic/Romantic Friendship/Life-Partners Usurped
Let's make this clear; Magneto and Rogue suck IMO. Mags is always kind of condescending and stiff like a very old man around her and Rogue still sounds like a teenager which makes for very painful, eye-rolling worthy dialog. Magneto and a long list of kick-ass women in comics canon would work more than these two.
And really, Mags and Charles have way too much baggage so I as much as I will always love them; I don't see them going anywhere.
Hopefully the movie writers for X-Men First Class can fix that.
Whereas Steve and Tony already worked through their issues and haven't spent years trying to kill each other and are actually great friends.

If you need comic sources for their awesome friendship, the link above is amazing. I have been hooked on these guys for years and I am willing to buy Finch art for these two again. And really Cap and Sam aka Falcon are awesomesauce BFF's and Jessica Drew, Luke Cage and Iron First are in a amazing threesome of love so I am totally down with promoting New Avengers. Avengers is actually all about family which I am all about. It's nice to see my new raise at work will be going towards something useful lol.
Person of Interest blurb before I run: Oh man, the eventual confrontation between Reese and Detective Carter better be as awesomesauce as I have imagined it. Their game of cat and mouse is making me antsy for a confrontation. And I want to squeeze Finch, especially when Reese does something creepy or morally ambiguous that even makes Finch uncomfortable. It's hilarious.:)
