Amazing show is still freaking amazing but I miss my Olivia. Alt!Olivia me no likey so far even though I wonder how she would stand to scrutiny with a one on one with Astrid?

I have such utter trust and devotion to this show; it never disappoints me.
Highlights
*Damon's seesaw between tenuous ally and outright sociopath makes me feel torn between being wibbly and wanting to beat him hard.
*Stefan remains my number one TV boyfriend, I love him so even when he is threatening people.
*Bonnie's grief and her reaction were awesome, Elena stopping her to save Bonnie from herself was great. Love the female friendships on this show.
*Tyler is fleshing out really nicely, can't wait to see more on him. I notice with his abusive father; the relationship between him and his mother seems to be settling down. I would even gather that a lot of her miserable behavior stemmed from being in an unhappy relationship even though she has long way to go to being a good mom to Tyler.
*Caroline is the star; I am so excited to see this new supernaturally empowered Caroline and her mentor-type relationship with Stefan. He and Elena are the glue that keeps the group together and I love it.:)
I missed Nikita, I was too tired but I should catch up next weekend.
