Return From The West....

Hey all!!

This past weekend, I took a day off work, and off I went to the City of Angels -- Los Angeles!!

I had an amazing time!!

So, I flew in on Thursday night, got in quite late, so my friend George and I (who I stayed with) just hung out, had some drinks, watched a movie "Waiting" (awesome film). Give me an hour and a half of Ryan Reynolds any day of the week!!

Then Friday morning George had to go to work for a bit, so I hung out with his housemate Saul for a bit, and we went to this famousish taco stand and had tacos. Then when George got home, he and I went down to Santa Monica Blvd -- did some shopping, went to the beach. It was quite funny/scary -- the line of people waiting in front of the apple store for the iPhone went for 4 blocks. But I got this awesome shirt with James Dean on it, and a Playboy one with a cartoon Betty Page on it (and Saul told me before I bought the shirt he thought I look like Betty Page!! Awesome!!)

Friday night George, Pablo and I went to the Rainbow and met up with a bunch of people (including my friends Eric and Laura), proceeded to hang out, get drunk, then went back to Pablo's place and crashed there for a bit before driving home to crash out some more. My stomach tried to disown me, but in the morning, after a good dose of IHOP and water, I felt better.

Saturday -- George, Sebastian, his girlfriend Ally, Eric and I went to the Warped tour which was being held at a venue in Ventura (which is a great beach town). Saw Killswitch Engage -- and I must say, the more I see of them, the more I like of them. Otherwise it was just too many emo kids. I must say that this will be my first (and last) Warped tour; unless the lineups get better. That night we hung out at the Rainbow again (where I met the guy who played Leatherface in the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre films). He also played "Crow" in the Train Job episode of Firefly -- he was gorgeous in that. He looks awful now. :-/ Met more awesome people, and so now I have many more people to sponge off when I go to LA again -- which I hope is soon!

We went back to Erics place after that and hung out watching Headbanger's ball for a bit, then slept for a bit, before going back to George's to sleep for a bit more. Then he and I watched some TV before he took me to the airport, and I flew home.
