Going to steal a meme started by the lovely slwatson:

Pick a character I know to some degree, from one of my fandoms. Ask a question you'd ask them in person if you could, and we'll see if I can wring a first-person answer out of them. For funsies! With a warning that you may end up talking to RP-verse muses, so you may get, ah... colorful answers ( Read more... )

So uh...

What kind of relationship did you have with the Doctor, anyway?

This man is kilted, just like his alternate version, but maintains wearing a strange leather jerkin that would set him apart from the man he would never consider his brother if the maddening refusal to smile and the side part in his hair did not.

James crosses his arms, as usual, and eyes the asker for a long time before deigning to respond.

"Nothing worth envy, I assure you," he replies in a tone that suggests he's both amused and repulsed by the question. As well as in an accent that is schooled to hold back traces of Scots.

Well, that's good to know. I mean, uh. Not that I'd have been envious, you know.

What's he like, your Doctor? *he's trying to imagine the Doctor's dark mirror, but mostly just ends up picturing the Master.*

"A bastard," he offers, letting just a touch of that accent slip through. That actually wouldn't be so far off in the picturing, and would be all at the same time. He shifts his stance, but his arms remain crossed. "Self-absorbed, prone t' flights of fancy, worthy of regeneration as a brush for the bog."

The corner of his mouth ticks up, just a hint of a not-grin.

Guy, is there anything you won't stick your dick in?

Guy's eyebrows go up from behind those potleaf sunglasses. He's got a one-word answer and feels no need to elaborate. "Yes."

Be honest with me Guy, do you ever miss Renfield since he left?

He would ask what good missing someone is, as it changes nothing, but that would take more words than he cares to speak. And he knows that such a turnabout question would be just as pointless as the missing when truth is truth whether it makes sense or not.

"Yes," Guy says levelly, as though he's been asked if marijuana grows green. Nothing of what he thinks of the departure shows on his face, anyway, and the sudden smile might be a little unnerving. "But I'll see him again."

For RP!Ren - Hey, you. What d'you think of your little brother's universe's Buck Frobisher? Thoughts, reflections, observations, predictions?

Wizard!Ray - Tell me about what you thought the first time you met your Ren?

1. Renfield smiles, because he dearly loves the asker. "A capable man, I'm relieved my brother found a way into his circle. I do not trust him entirely with my brother; while I did not live the 'dumb stick' comment, I am aware of it, and must admit to some private displeasure with it. It is minor on my own behalf, but on his... I'm certain you can understand. Somehow I do not believe my younger brother would be subject to it as my twin was, however ( ... )

Thanks, Renfield. ::grins a bit::

As for you, Auror Vecchio: So, how long before you managed to explain your Riv, huh?

1. "You are, as always, very welcome. Please send my affections to both men, if they are accessible for it."

2. "...what, you think I have by now?" Ray laughs, entirely good-natured. "Nah. He kinda gets it, it didn't take long. He had his cruiser back home and that wasn't all humoring the muggles, so I know he's not completely lost about my Riv. I've convinced him of the upside of a fine automobile like that over a broom, anyway." Yeah, he winks. Ear-humper.
