Leaving footsteps here and there
Wow, the amount of things that have change since my last post. 11 months!!!
- Well my birthday is coming up on the sixth of July.
- I'm no longer engaged (thank gawd).
- Yves Saint Laurent passed away.
- Barack Obama made history (seriously)
- Natural disasters have been having a field day!
- Hurricane season is around the corner
- I got accepted into grad school: Academy of Art University in San Fran. Will be starting fall 2009
- I completed my first year of evening classes at Edna Manley school of arts doing fashion design
- Completed one of two pre-requisite courses for the grad school program online. Next one starts in the fall
- I'm in a relationship. Kristina Bioerson and I met at Edna Manley; the school I do my evening classes at. She left for Germany SHORTLY after we started dating. Its pretty much been long distance the whole time. It sucks and I'm jaded. Nuff said.
- I got a pocket pc phone. It has EVERYTHING I need and some stuff I doubt I'll use. I can even control our TV with it (I kid you not)
- Was in a metal band then quit for two reasons.
A) Evening and online classes took to much of my time
B) Couldn't take the noise. Listening to it here and there is great! Playing it, not so much...
- Volunteered backstage a few weekends ago for Saints International's Fashion Style Week. Was hella fun but EXHAUSTING
- MUSIC! is still my life. "Mostly rotated" albums from the likes of Nine Inch Nails. Bloc Party. The Streets. Oh, Sleeper. As Cities Burn. Imogen Heap. Frou Frou....too many more.
- Been handpainting tee-shirts for the past month. Lots of fun
- Just realized I'm not a big fan of full stops / periods
- Started a haiku blog (http://idlehaikus.blogspot.com)
