Why is this day different from all other days?

Mar 31, 2010 09:16

It's chemotherapy day.

Please to excuse my blasphemy, I blasphem because I love, (Happy Passover, for those of you who celebrate) and also because I FUCKING HATE CHEMOTHERAPY DAY. Granted, this would probably be worse if I were the one, you know, actually getting said chemotherapy, but STILL.

Now it will be all: go to the hospital, wait one hour to give blood (for three minutes), three hours to see the doctor (for five minutes), wait three hours to get the chemo (15-20 mins). That means it will take seven hours of sitting around for less than half an hour of actual getting stuff done. In the waiting room. Where my dad & I will play the fun game of "who's clearly died since we were here two weeks ago? Who looks, wow, ten years older in that brief span of time?" [We actually do this. I really hope none of these white people (they are all white for some reason, except one Asian couple) speak Bengali, or they know exactly what number they are in our DeathBingo.]

I just want to sleep.

Also, I feel like ass. Also, I didn't get nearly enough done on the chapter last night. *hates self*

family, under the weather
