So, I'm in Boston now, at the halfway point in my East Coast adventure. I finally have decent internet access :)
Some notes so far:
The wedding was beautiful, both brides looked lovely. Ok, one looked lovely, the other still looks hot as hell, but she's found someone MUCH better for her than I ever was. To culminate my previous hell week of close calls, I arrived at the wedding just after the processional. Got to see all but that, though, so it all worked out well.
Spent Monday bouncing around the town of Northampton, where I was born. Went to the adoption agency, got a little info, but the social worker is on vacation so no medical records yet. I was adopted on Gothic St, which I found so appropriate.
Spent Tuesday in Springfield, where I lived till I was 1. Met the current owners, got a tour of the house. Visited the park and zoo near the house, where my parents took me as a baby. Went to the Dr. Seuss Memorial Garden ;)
Wednesday I went to Salem. Got there later than I had planned, but I got to see the Witch museum. The town is very pagan friendly now, definitely been reclaimed since the 1600s. Meditated in the old cemetery in the middle of town. Found my hotel in Boston, in the theater district. Boston is the only city I have found with more confusing roads than Chicago, egad.
Will spend the next couple days in Boston, should be fun :) I have pics, will figure out some place to host them when I get back.
