rubik's
inspired by this story, i bought a rubik's cube today. as much of a gamergeek jamietoon is, im still suprised he doesn't have one. however he was half-asleep when i asked him, so i would still bet he has one stashed in the basement (or someone's basement) somewhere. d:
i remember my brother writing lots of notes on index cards & figuring out how to solve it. if it came out in 1980, i was 6 so he must have been 20. i doubt i would be able to figure it out myself or at least don't want to devote the time to try, so i found this website.
but i'm more of a visual/spatial learner (i learned to knit from diagrams) so all the text quickly frustrated me. instead i took a nap. now i will search for better directions.
