Dreams 04/28/2019
Was feeling protective on behalf of some woman who was being harassed in some way by a force of some kind (implication that it might be UTs). Were the kind of beings where everybody knew you were much better off (no, Really) staying under their radar.
However, for my part, found myself hanging out with either Draco Malfoy, or someone close enough to the guy as no matter. We were talking (he even mentioned his father at one point), joking, teasing each other. I suddenly realized, to my shock, that I liked the dude. Was very comfortable with him, didn't have a real problem with the natural level of Snark, all that. And at that moment, I seemed to get a (telepathic?) unspoken agreement that 'the bonding was going well.' In other words, I'd just realized and gotten confirmation that I'd been Set Up, and though I was prepared to be Really Pissed Off... I still, God help me, now really liked the dude.
The Point of this possibly being, (aside from me probably having seen too many 'Rehabilitation of Draco Malfoy as a character so the author can lust after Malfoy sans guilt' fanfics), do you get mad at a certain kind of Matchmaker, regardless of how Used you feel, if the match does seem pretty effective?

Also, a vague wish-mash with Star Wars references, details too unclear to really recall, but including the theme of 'can destiny be cheated/changed' as part of it.
ETA: Also the 'Thomas Felton' type in't my 'usual type', hence part of my surprise in the dream. Part of the dream's 'meaning' could be, don't get too stuck on whether someoone's 'your type', obviously. Still, feeling a bit sheepish - too many Mary Sue fics glanced at, maybe.
ETA2: Could also be 'shadow self' work - learning to understand/accept one's Inner Arsehole. 'One's Inner Draco Malfoy'...
