...could it have been the coffee?
For those of you in the south: Chick-fil-a (pronounced chik-fill-A for you Yankees *snort*) has the BEST coffee of the fast food variety. They also have a breakfast burrito to die for! Not only is it a good size (huge compared to McDonald's or Sonic) - it actually has REAL eggs, along with red and green peppers and what-have-you. Not swimming in oil, it's very good for a gringo fast food joint.
On the way into the church this morning, I stepped over a white thong! At first I began to think about how nasty these college kids are - then I remembered that there's a laundry close by and maybe it somehow fell out of the bag. I like the second explanation better. Either way, I didn't move it. I figure if it's the first explanation - I'm not picking up underwear worn by some skanky ass ho! Eeeewwwww! If it's the second, then maybe she'll notice that it's missing and go looking for it. Either way, it's a part of the scenery now!
My mind is all over the place! I'm thinking it's the coffee! Having a fabulous day so far! Riding a nice wave of creativity right now. Here I was wondering what my passion was - duh! It still startles me to believe that I suppressed so much of ME to conform to other peoples ideas & preconceptions. That's just nuts! (I miss the Angry Beavers!)
Saw "Fly Boys" yesterday. I chose it because I wanted to see a movie over 2 hours long - yeah, I can be arbitrary! Anyway, I'm not a big war movie fan, but I loved this movie! It's based on a true story - I'm interested in knowing more about the real events - pretty compelling. The action sequences were spectacular! I really got a feel for what it was like flying in a plane made basically of wood and canvas - and have people shooting at you!!! I have a new respect for WWI pilots. Seriously those guys had big ole brass balls. No parachutes, no protective gear other than a leather jacket, hat, scarf & goggles - oh and a gun in case the plane caught fire and the pilot wanted to make a quick exit! I'd buy that movie-it was that good.
I've decided to buy a hookah. I know I've talked about this before, but now the price is right! The store where I buy my cloves has hookahs made here in the good ole USA. Compared to the ones you can find in the middle east, they are hideous - but cheap. Yeah one day, I'd love to have a gorgeous one, but for now, this will do. Maybe I'll drape scarves around the room and pretend I'm in an opium den! Oh yeah! (I'm thinking it's the coffee)
