The Honeymoon was wonderful. The week I came back was so hectic I could not see straight. I’m still trying to play catch up with work and chores. J and I have been doing great. We have not gotten tired of each others company yet. The only problem I have had is a slight case of guilt because I have been taking him away from his 3d design hobby/work.
I’m still trying to get everyone to send me pictures of the wedding so I can get started on the CD and posts needed.
The kids have been doing fine. Today is the last day of school and they are already making plans for way too much stuff to go on. I think the kids will be spending a lot of time at the pool. I just have to convince D2 that lobster red is not a good color for a boy (even if he could do the redneck jokes better then) hence he needs SPF2000 for all of his really white skin. He is bound and determined to get all kinds of building projects done, go camping and do tons of other stuff this summer. I think he is starting to create his own style and perceptions….Woohoo!!!! We just have to teach him that not all engineers dress like that.
E.D. is becoming every fanboys dream/nightmare…that body with those brains and knows how to mentally, physically and emotionally emasculate accurately at 150 yards. I’m trying to get her to use her “powers” only when needed and only for the better good. She is starting to look more and more like the Amy brown fairies. She is also wanting me to track down some of “Pack” and extended family, She has been very selective about who but I think she is missing cons….. She knows that it is difficult for us to go as a family to the cons now but she still misses some of the people.
This summer I will be getting my License!!! I will be going and taking the test possibly in 3 weeks. I hope that will be enough time to get the hang of this whole parallel parking #$@#%$!!! I’ve been tooling around the neighborhood lately. I still can not relax enough to enjoy driving yet but I’m working on it. Then I just wanna a car with an A/C and a Heater that will get from point A to B with out a whole lot of gas or hassle. I’d love one of the new cheap compacts for getting to and from work and minor running around without the munchkins. The Toyota Yaris, Lift-back Automatic in Blazing Blue Pearl with A/C, Heater, power windows, would be nice but I’m not holding my breath. I know that we would still need a “family” CAR/SUV for the major hauls and road trips but it would be nice.
I have also been trying to find out what it would entail for a step-parent adoption. It’s going to have to wait till we get some other debts paid off first though and I’m going to have to get work to Kip. I think it’s going to be difficult if for no other reason than tracking him down. Last I heard he was in Greenback TN & Dating some psycho that will not allow him to even receive email.
Well better get back to trying to get caught back up.
