Sniper Genetics:

Sep 19, 2005 10:43

Well I do believe that being able to shoot a riffle well has got to be genetic trait. The E.D.(Eldest Demon) and I went to a “thing” this past Saturday where we were able to shoot (Riffles, Shot Guns, Pistols, Compound bows, Cross bows and even muzzle loaders) She did incredibly well with a 96 out of possible 100 score. She also won a .22 Remington Riffle in a drawing. I now see all of what little income I have left after bills going to range fees and ammo. She has also decided she wants a pistol and a bow to “improve” her skills. She had a blast. I got to shoot that cross bow and the riffle also and did almost as well ….95 with an extreme case of the giggles after seeing the face of the instructors face after he did the whole macho teach the little lady thing and I shot out the 0 in the #10 in the very center. The event was put on by www.biggame.org at www.greystonecastle.com …. Trust me guys this is a great group and a wonderful location. If you ever get a chance you gotta go see this place. At one point a cease fire had to be called to let 2 very pretty and mature white tail deer cross the skeet shooting range. I think deer have a very good working knowledge of the human calendar and when deer season is. I swear they were teasing all the hunters.

Late Tonight / Early Morning J will be arriving from TN. I still have to work on the house tonight and I will have to work Tuesday and Part of Wednesday but then I will be off for a few days so we can run all kinds of errands. We have to squeeze in the following in 9 days: find a Job, find an Apartment, go to a wedding, go to fencon.org, have a few dates, go get E.D.’s riffle, take my driving test, apply for his TX Drivers license and he wants to read HP 6. All of this on top of normal Family, Mom and clan duties. It ought to be interesting!
I may not be online much till the 29th.
