An Electronic prayer to the Universe :
Dear Universe,
If you see fit to send any more men in to my life, Can I please ask that they meet the following criteria:
He should have a sense of Responsibility and follow through
He should be honest
He should show civic responsibility
He should be willing (and follow through) to attend any Family, Pack, Clan, Circle, Company, School or friends gathering
He should be willing and able to work and deal with the kids for those times I just can not do it any more.
He should have an active sense of spirituality (and at least be pagan friendly).
He should have strong protective instincts (Kate is hitting puberty)
He should be able to hold his own against what ever is coming his way (including me)
He should be romantic and thoughtful
He should have a thirst for communication and learning
He should have a sense of humor (he’ll need it in this clan)
He should know never to lay a hand on me or mine in anger
He should be able to be presentable at company parties
He should know never to lie or cheat
He should be Drug free and only a light social drinker
He should be very tolerant of most things (unless it could endanger any of the family)
He should be willing to help with the home stuff…cleaning and repairs
He should know never to try to pull drama
He should be thrifty
He should be practical
He should be accepting no matter how I look …gain or loose weight
He should know never to try to get in between my family and I if there is trouble
He should publicly and with the kids “back me up”, we can always argue behind closed doors later
He should be stable mentally and physically
He should still know how to be male (in the archetype)
He should be fun to be with
And above all he must truly Love the kids and me
I have made some of these criteria way to loosely worded and I know I could not think of all the things I want in one setting but you get the point, I hope you will be kind and follow the intent not just what is stated. And please understand if I reject them the first few attempts but I have reached the point of I do not need anyone and it will take me some time to accept any new additions to my life
BTW: I know I forgot the independently wealthy and other pipe dream things
