Makes sense. Tony works best when he's cleaning up his own messes, it seems.
I'd love for a montage of Tony going after people he thinks are using his technology, a la Armor Wars, and being wrong a bunch of times.
Quick slides of Doom walking away from a smoking Iron Man armor, Abner Jenkins with his team of college students working on MACH-IV derivations looking at him quizzically, Crimson Dynamo in a Russian barracks laughing at him. It'd be GREAT I tell you.

That'd be rather...cohesive and brilliant, since Marvel wants to tie in all of its newer movie franchises into one big shared verse. Even if people were just in cameos, it'd definitely lend a sense of coherency and unity to the larger shared movieverse.
I want this shared verse movie concept to work so badly. Just the kind of thinking it inspires, and the ease of links and transferring of fandoms to comics makes me salivate.
We need a lot of new readers to kick Marvel in the rear and get them going on new and fun stories. Preferably ones that have a lot of exposure to a full-ish universe, but none of the comics fanboy brainwashing.
