Graphics Card

I am looking for a new graphics card, however I am a bit stuck as to what exactly I need. I like NVIDIA and I would like VGA but I am not sure beyond that what would suit my motherboard and what not. Any ideas? Would be appreciated *smiles*

AMD Athlon
ACPI Uniprocessor
1.67 GHz
1GB Ram
