* first day of the college life *
Hey All! I know I haven't updated in a few so I thought I'd get on here and give a lil update on my first day of college.
I was pretty nervous at first thinking about it, but by the time I got ready to leave the house I was fine. I thought the day was gonna start off awful at first because I woke up about 45 minutes late, but still done good on time and all. I went to my first class - Basic Computer Literacy - and it was about full when I got in there. I knew absolutely no one in there, then about 5 minutes after 8 Justin walked in...so at least I know one person in there. We introduced ourselves and talked about what we're going to do in there pretty much the whole time. The teacher let us go at 9 so I walked out with Justin and we walked down to Godwin Hall and there I seen Melissa so we went walking for a few since we had a good 25 minutes until our next class. I walked over to my next class and I can already tell this one is gonna bore me to death!! LoL* There are only like 8 of us in there. We basically just did the same thing in there that we did in my first class. He let us go at 10, so I still had almost an hour before my next class. I walked over to Holton Hall and seen Wes and Spanky so I talked to them. While I was talking to them I seen Chris and said hey. I finally got up to go to English and seen Chris again and he asked me where I was going and I told him English and it turned out that we have English together..so...that was good! LoL* Him & Justin are the only two people that I knew in any of my classes! LoL* But at least there is someone in there I guess. After English I walked over to Holton Hall with Chris and I met Melissa there and we got a snack. I went to get my college ID since they were out of supplies last time, but I didn't have my license on me. So me and Melissa walk down to the bookstore to look and so I could get my stuff that Spanky was watching for me! LoL* I parked right behind the library so I decided that I'd just grab my license and run back in there to get my ID made, but when I walked in there the whole nursing class was in there trying to get their name tags so I decided to just wait. I just came on home. That was pretty much my first day of college in a nutshell! LoL
I'm kinda glad the anticipation and anxiety of the first day is already over with and gone. I don't think I will have a real hard time with any of my classes, so that's always a good thing.
Other than college starting, I've basically just been working and going out. Thursday night Me, Amanda, Lisa, and Chelsea headed to the club. It was packed out. I talked to a bunch of people and just had a blast. Plus, I seen Cedric, my friend from JC that I talked about in a recent entry, and whom also called me today. :o) ..so of course, I spent some time with him. Saturday night Herb and James talked me into going to the club again. So Amanda, Lisa, & I went. I was suppose to meet them at the Planet so that's where we went. They finally got there. It ended up being Herb, James, Jersey, Mo, David, Dre, and Caroline. Though, there weren't that many people there so we all decide to leave and go to 2nd Level. The line for the club was unbelievable, but the guys just take off walking to the front, and needless to say we got in the club within about 5 minutes. LoL* We ended up leaving about 3:30 and going to Krystal's and I just crashed at Herb's and James' that night. I must say I had a great time this weekend though. :o)
