it was the most upsetting packing ever.
i realized:
- i have 1 (one) skirt that fits. by 'fits' i don't mean that it zips. i mean that i can actually breathe, move, and perhaps even eat while wearing it. it's a formal business skirt and it stays home.
- i have to be excruciatingly honest with myself to leave behind some fabulous (yes, i said fabulous) summer clothes that i'm not going to wear next week.
- and last, but not least: what a show off i was! seriously. sigh.
whatever. i look at my beautiful daughter who, by the way, is crawling and almost sitting up and eating that yucky mushy rice cereal and i'm happy. i'm bigger and happier than i used to be.
