Looking for housemates is such a chore...
Seems the only time I post a note is when we desperately need a new housemate. Here's the advert:

The Ballistic Chicken Coop (my house) is looking for new housemates. We are 6 persons, 4 chickens and 2 cats living in Wallingford, a couple blocks west of I5. One housemate is moving out at the end of January, so we're looking for a replacement ASAP. We are looking for a guy, to maintain gender balance within the house.
We are interested in art and music, cooperative living, good food, dumpster diving, homebrewing, bicycles, urban chickens and gardening, and in general, overthrowing the system while having a good time at it.
We are looking for creative, responsible, proactive, progressive people. We are in our early to late 20s, but are flexible on age. Our cats are already on the sly, so no new pets, and we prefer non-smokers.
The room is actually the full basement floor. It's quite spacious, but shares some space with the washer and dryer. I lived in there before and it's quite a nice basement.
We share expenses for food and utilities. Food is shared and (mostly) vegetarian, and we have house meals together.
