okay, I didn't read all of this, because well, because I'm not aware of what is going on so I tend not to get involved in those kinds of things.

However, I do have one question that popped up while skimming.

Is that where the term mangina came from?

And yes, the cover is icky and brings to mind many a tireless arguement that no matter how strong you argue your point, someone will always piss you off with the opposite. It's amazing what people will say to make themselves feel better about something.

And yes, true enough, it just annoys the shit out of me to see a group of people - who are fairly respectable individuals when not partaking in a mob scene - making HUGE assumptions about certain individuals based solely on 'implications' within a cover they had no hand in creating......and then ignore any effort to show facts that offer a contrary viewpoint.

*Shrugs* Whatever. Hell, this is mostly me just venting because I'm not stupid enough to get involved with the actual argument itself, because like you said, nobody'll ever be satisfied by it and no one's interested in changing their minds. Me included, so I'm aware of the inherent irony, its just...I'm right. Duh.
