Seriously. I am not going to stop being a chubby girl anytime soon if this persists.
Since when do I need more than 5 hours of sleep a night. I feel the usual teenage-girl-whine coming on.....wait for it......IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!
Ok, better now.
Keep missing Mondays on the treadmill because I am too tired to get up. Luckily, by Tuesday I am able to guilt myself out of bed for at least a half hour on the thing before work. It tends to get better during the week so that, by Friday, I eventually get on it for my whole hour. It's very upsetting, however. It's like I need tons more sleep than the average person. Sunday night I got 9 hours! 9 hours and I still was exhausted by the time I had to get up.
Last night, however, massage.....mmmm.
It was painful and I think I have a few bruises, but it was oh so necessary in the way that I had forgotten what it was like to not constantly have my neck and shoulder and back muscles working overtime. Although I am in pain today, it is a good pain. It is a pain that says, "go out and conquer that bastard of a day in front of you." or maybe it says "to drive your enemies before you and hear the lamentations of their women...." you never can tell...
Anyhow, did not manage to get all the knitting (baby blanket that is due asap and scarf that should have already been finished) or the homework (have to have done by Wed after work for my group meeting)I had waiting done. Damn. And let's not even get into how my time at work is going....or maybe briefly. Got a ton done yesterday in record time. Almost didn't even make a dent in my backlog. I could cry about it, but that's not very me....so instead I'll just try to work harder.
The highlights of this week are as follows:
Tonight - dinner with friends! (Yay!!!)
Tomorrow - handing out candy if I ever get home from class
Thursday - there is nothing good about Thursdays (except maybe class will be fun again)
Friday - rehearsal for Pirates!
Saturday - wedding (and class, and a funeral, but I am missing the funeral)
Sunday - Workshops for Dickens!!!!!!! Yay!!!
Ta!
