Chuck 2.19 - Chuck vs. the Dream Job
This is what we've been waiting for! [dances] Heartbreaking and hilarious.
Love, love, love Scott Bakula as Chuck & Ellie's father! The "a beautiful mind" craziness which was justified since... HE'S ORION! YAY! [does a jig] Aw, he's such a cute bumbling inventor. And he was trying to get the Intersect (that he designed) out of Chuck's head. [sniff] Show, I love you. It was a totally predictable reveal and you made it breathtakingly awesome!
Whoa, Ellie! A little emotional. [raised brows] Wedding planning will do that to you. But it did seem kinda weird that she wants her father to walk her down the aisle but is upset he returned. After so many years, you never know what you will really feel when you meet someone again. Especially, if its a shock. Hmm.
Morgan being so sad and yet happy for Chuck's new job. [hugs Morgan]
Casey and Sarah look ridiculous as uber-nerds. And Casey's forced grin! LOL
Chuck taking charge and suiting up with tranq guns! Awesome. Standing up to Casey and shooting him. Hilarious! Oh, and when Chuck tranqed the men surrounding his dad. LOL
On the heart warming front, it was so great to see Chuck interview with his own credentials and get the job. And those exercise ball chairs! So funny, but my co-worker suggested that I try one of those the same day I saw this episode.
This episode was Buy More lite and I liked it. Especially since there was all these great father/son moments and Intersectology. When Chuck wanted to stay behind and save his father, I was on the edge of my seat.
This show must get another season.
