i can hear you louder than ever
I've been hanging out with friends alot which has been good. Friday, I watched Inception with one friend who had not seen it (and she loved it). Then of course we had to spend an hour discussing it. Saturday, I just ran errands and chilled out at night re-watching the recent BBC Emma miniseries. Sunday, I ushered at church, hung out with a friend at my place in the afternoon. Then went to dinner with another friend and her boyfriend followed by the three of us going to Molly Malone's where The Bang-Ups were playing (another one of my friends manages the band). And a group of my friends was there to see the band too. So great weekend overall!
The Bang-Ups rock! It needs to be said. Like The White Stripes, they're a duo of one with the guitar, the other drums but they sound so much bigger. A bit outrageous but with a dry sense of humor. They don't take themselves seriously. Very refreshing. It is kinda funny because they are total wallflowers off the stage but onstage (whoo!) intense passionate magic. They're on their first tour. Currently, they're playing the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.
Tonight, yoga cause I didn't go this weekend.
