so the closing ceremonies was over all nice to watch. some things i didnt get but i just blame NBC for that. camera angles and such, it looked like the director didnt know which camera to use.
like the whole snowboarding youth people thing... they were making something but they cut to like 3 cameras than the out side camera for the firworks... srsly NBC maybe you should have figures out which cameras to use during practice for the closing ceremonies.
my favorite part of it was the last thing NBC decided to show before cutiing to the marriage ref... that rant will start in a bit. but it was an awesome show! it made me laugh so much because it is so canadian! in a way i am happy they won the gold in hockey because those huge figures had gold medals, and this part was showing all what canada is known for. it was a great number and i enjoyed it so much i watched it like 5 times on my DVR. lol.
now ofcourse NBC would do what only NBC would do, stop showing the olympics and go to the marriage ref halfway through the closing ceremonies. why would they do such a thing? i was so upset they would do that! it was the worst way to end the olympics because who is up at 1130 to watch the rest of it. thankfully i had my DVR recording it and when the abruptly ended the olympics i changed the channel and watched something else before going to bed.
i wanted to feel like the olympics ended but it doesnt feel like it was given its proper goodbye. NBC need to change how they run everything because it keeps doing things to get people upset. thank you NBC for showing the hockey game live but you only did it to make sure u wouldnt get attacked again like you did the last time.
on another not i was kicked out of class today for being sick. my teacher said he couldnt afford to get sick and i should leave. lol.
disclaimer: this is a rant and all common sense is out the window. i am writing about how i feel they runned the closing show, not on why they decided to. (which i still think is not very good reason but it made some viewers happy, so whatever.)
an article i found that made me think i am not the only one who felt this way.
