So...I turned in my term paper today and my final decoding assignment not five minutes ago. I would say that I'm glad this week is nearly over except next week is finals week, and to put it mildly, I kind of want to repeatedly run headfirst into something hard and unyielding just so I can experience the temporary bliss of unconsciousness. I think I

I was in your position once before too, when I was in college... the entire four years of it. I can understand how it feels to get so bombarded with projects and exams and sometimes only getting an hour of sleep at night. It really, really sucks. T.T It gave me sleeping disorders too... except I didn't get panic attacks as a companion. You definitely don't need those on top of everything else you're already dealing with. *huuuuuugs*
Sooo, yeah, not really good news to say that I don't think I ever managed to find a good method to fix disordered sleeping schedules, other than actually forcing yourself to sleep regularly for regular amount of hours every single night, but that's probably not always possible, and once you can't do it, your sleeping schedule gets thrown off forever. D=
Have you tried physical exercise? The few times I exercised in the morning or in the afternoon, it helped me a little to sleep at night. And I don't know, maybe with warm milk before bed and all that. In my case, I couldn't sleep also because I made use of caffeine to force me to stay awake for all the projects and exams, but then I ended up not being able to sleep either no matter how tired I was. Do you also use caffeine?
Sorry if my lame attempt at helping isn't actually helping at all. ;_; But I at least want to wish you good luck, and all the best wishes in surviving through college. <3;

Oh gods...that sounds awful. I'm sorry you had to go through this experience, too! @__@ In my case, it's a combination of heavy workloads and the fact that the people I live with can often be very loud, obnoxious, and disrespectful. I'm a terribly light sleeper, so any little sound instantly wakes me up. This has been going on for so long that even when I'm in a quiet environment, I still wake up only after a few hours of rest. D:
O-oh dear. That was what I was afraid of. I'm just hoping that it'll get better once I graduate. Hahaha, if they had something like sleep rehabilitation, I would sign up for it! XD
I've tried physical exercise before and while it did make me more tired, I still wasn't able to fall asleep in a timely manner and stay asleep. : / I think I will try that again, though, since exercise is good for you regardless of whether or not it helps you sleep! : ] Ah, I've heard of the warm milk idea before, but I can't eat or drink anything too heavy before I go to bed or else I'll feel ill. Gaaah...my body is so fickle. D8 In regards to caffeine, I used to drink buckets of tea back in high school, but I've completely cut out caffeine from my diet ever since my insomnia got worse.
No no, your input is really helpful to me! I really appreciate you taking all that time to read through my whiny post and give me sound advice. ;__; <33 And thank you~! I will do my best to at least stay alive throughout the remainder of my college career! XD;
